Let your inner goddess set sail

Founder of Matria, sailor & lover of the sea

MICHELLE CASAZZA

Meet your guide

My name is Michelle Casazza and I’m an intuitive business & life coach, community builder, and sailor. In 2021, I hit a state of burnout and felt like a shell of a human. I followed a calling for “balance” which led me to leave my corporate career. What followed was an unintentional healing journey at sea, sailing in some of the most beautiful places around the world and connecting with my true self on the water.

Sailing was meant to be a brief hiatus following a particularly stressful and toxic chapter in my corporate job. Over the course of three years, the water, the sailing community, and the constant practice of facing my fears became deeply healing for me. This transformation took me from feeling burned out and "stuck" in the corporate world to living an abundant and joyous life, fully aligned with my true self. Through this journey, I broke free from the mold of what I thought I should be, embracing who I truly am.

I’m now inviting you on board.

Retreat FAQs

  • Absolutely. This is a lifestyle sailing voyage with a fully certified crew. While we're capable of sailing you from sunrise to sunset, you're welcome to jump in and learn a thing or two while you're on board. Everyone will be offered a chance at the helm, or a class of bubble to sit back and watch. The choice is yours.

  • Yes! If you're interested in sharing a cabin, we would be happy to match you with another woman in a shared double cabin.

  • Hey, it happens! We'll share all the tricks while you're on board to help you get your sea legs. We sail along the coast of beautiful islands in mostly calm water. However, if you think you may experience seasickness, we recommend bringing some remedies including non-drowsy dramamine, peppermint oil and ginger chews.

  • We are called to ebb and flow with the natural rhythms around us. Each day will be different, but here is an idea of what you can expect on board:

07:00 Morning meditation, followed by coffee, matcha & tea to start the day. Fancy a swim? The pool is open

    09:00 Breakfast is served

10:00 Sail to a nearby anchorage. Sit at the helm with our captain to pick up a sailing tip or two

12:00 Family style lunch on board

14:00 Enjoy a new perspective while we view our floating home from a walk on land

18:00 Evening gathering, sundowners & dinner

21:00 Game night, calm meditation or dance party

  • Linens are provided and limited storage is available, so we suggest packing a duffle bag or soft, foldable luggage to maximize space. Our full packing list, including some of our favorite products, will be shared with attendees closer to departure.
